Ms Chui Pink has a Bachelor’s degree in Education specialising in English and a Masters in Applied Linguistics. She has spent 17 years teaching and in her long career in education, she was a HOD (English), School Staff Developer and was given the opportunity to work on curriculum planning with MOE (HQ). Her contributions to various school-based English curriculum projects were notable and she was awarded a scholarship to pursue her Masters.  The experience and knowledge that she has acquired over the years gives her insight to proven methodologies that can help hone her student’s English Skills. She is deeply passionate about teaching the subject and will do her utmost to help her student’s reach their potential.

After graduating with a Business Degree from Singapore Management University and spending some years in the corporate sector, Ms Patricia found her calling to teach. Her broad teaching experience in the last 15 years span from Primary School to Tertiary Institutions. She considers herself not only an educator, but a mentor to her students. She enjoys getting to know her students and believes in investing time in them. Beyond the classroom, she has helped her students with interviews and entrance essays for DSA, University and Scholarship applications. Her wish is to be able to continuously inspire our young and grow their love for English.

Ms. Nithiya has 18 years of teaching experience and has spent 8 years working closely with educational staff and master teachers at MOE Headquarters as an educational production manager. She managed over 100 educational visual contents to enhance students’ understanding of the syllabus. Hence, Ms. Nithiya is well-equipped to nurture and inspire students with a creative mindset to progress toward their goals.

In recognition of her commitment and service, Ms. Nithiya has been honored with multiple awards, including the MOE Long Service Award in 2020 and the MOE Unsung Hero Award in 2018. Additionally, she received a Special Accolade from the then Permanent Secretary of Education in 2018, underscoring her exceptional contributions to education.

Allow us to introduce you to Ms. Reena, an experienced English teacher who’s passionate about nurturing young minds, starting with kids as young as 7 years old. With a background in teaching at MOE schools, her expertise is backed by practical classroom experience.

Ms. Reena’s teaching style is captivating and interactive, making language lessons enjoyable for her young learners. Her belief in the importance of a solid foundation at an early age is evident in her approach.

What sets Ms. Reena apart is her dedication to inclusion. Her classrooms are spaces where kids with special needs and learning disabilities flourish. Her adaptability and compassionate approach ensure that every child thrives, regardless of their unique learning journey.

Away from the classroom, Ms. Reena’s creativity takes center stage. Her recent achievement of publishing her own book and diving into filmmaking highlights her commitment to following her dreams. This passion flows into her teaching, infusing every lesson with a sense of possibility and imagination.

With Ms. Reena, education takes on a dynamic and engaging form, ensuring that her students not only learn effectively but also develop a genuine appreciation for language and communication.

Ms Sihui had been a teacher in-service for 10 years before she decided to venture into private tutoring. She has taught all facets and skills required in English- Writing, public speaking and acting. Whilst being a teacher in school and  in a private language academy, she puts a lot of heart into developing her lessons.  Her view is that writing is a challenging process to find different ways to convey one’s thoughts and ideas. In teaching writing, she hopes to be able to help her students stoke their imagination and find words to share their ideas.

Ms. Vivi has always believed that upholding sincerity and genuine care will invariably lead to positive results in life.

During her time in junior college, Ms. Vivi tutored a few primary students. She discovered her greatest joy in seeing students gain confidence in their abilities and gradually improve academically. This experience became the foundation of her belief that students’ personal growth and accomplishments are more essential than mere academic scores.

As a mother of two adorable sons, she understands the feelings of every parent seeking quality in their child’s education. This understanding deepened her commitment to becoming the bridge between ACA and parents, inspired by ACA’s teachers’ dedication to creating an environment that not only builds a solid foundation in writing but also fosters a growth mindset and encourages students to confidently express their opinions.

This guiding principle shapes her approach as the first point of contact when parents reach out to ACA. She listens attentively to understand the challenges that students face and discusses how best to support their children, treating each child’s success as a personal mission
