Every term break, our teachers believe it is important for students to break away from the confined classroom boundaries to unleash their creativity, enhance critical thinking, and bolster the confidence of our young learners.
Our English holiday workshops are carefully crafted to be both fun and meaningful, designed to give students ample opportunities to explore and enhance their skills. We offer a diverse range of sessions including creative writing, oral development, and comprehensive booster classes for Papers 1 through 4, ensuring a well-rounded experience that caters to various aspects of English proficiency
Creative Writing Workshop (P1 to P6)
Drawing inspiration from a variety of renowned authors, the workshop uses themes from their books to teach diverse writing techniques. This approach not only deepens students’ understanding of the content but also enhances their critical thinking and enables them to express their thoughts coherently and creatively.
Oral Development Workshop (P3 and P4)
This workshop focuses on enhancing students’ oral communication skills, crucial for the PSLE. It includes read-aloud strategies, effective answering techniques, and a review of commonly misspelled words that frequently appear in exams. The workshop is tailored to help students improve their verbal responses and build confidence in their speaking abilities.
Paper 1 and 2 Booster Classes and Checkpoint (P5 and P6)
Designed to simulate the PSLE environment, this workshop tests students on the first day with exams crafted to mirror the actual PSLE, followed by a detailed review session on the second day. This session focuses on effective answering techniques, helping students understand how to approach different question types and excel in their exams.
Paper 3 and 4 Booster Classes and Checkpoint (P5 and P6)
These sessions are strategically planned to prepare students for the PSLE. On the first day, students learn key strategies for excelling in the exams and are tested on various predicted topics. The second day features a simulated PSLE experience with two examiners, followed by immediate feedback and comprehensive reviews to identify and improve areas needing improvement.

Samuel (P6-2024)
Hi Ms Leong. As Samuel prepares to enter into his final year of primary school education, i just want to thank you for journeying with Samuel these past three years.
I’ve watched him grow under your nurturing and encouragement. More than his results, it’s that excitement and love for writing that thrills me. Now, whenever he has a writing piece to complete, he will delight in doing research and expressing his inner thoughts on paper.

Marcus (P6-2024)
Our son has been attending ACA since primary 3. This is the only academic enrichment class that he enjoys without complaints. Ms Leong is experienced with the MOE system and the curriculum team have been extremely supportive towards my son’s learning journey. They focus on foundational concepts and are able to pace the learning throughout the year. As a boutique centre, ACA is less rigid and is able to accommodate requests for amendments to the class schedule, and even arrange for 1:1 makeup lessons without shortchanging the student. We are thankful for this chance to be able to enroll into ACA and highly recommend it!

My son was P3 when he joined ACA. He is a distracted kind is very slow and never finish his compo writing on time. The content is also sometimes unrelated. My friend recommended Ms Leong to me so I decided to give it a try.
After 1 year attending Ms Leong’s class, my son’s composition writing has improved a lot. Now he can finish writing a complete guided composition within the time frame. Thank you Ms Leong for always being so passionate to guide and encourage him. Will definitely recommend the centre.

Niklas finished most corrections dated some time back. He did his essay till late yesterday all by himself. He was quite proud of his work and didn’t want us to help him at all.
