Regular Classes

Terms & Conditions

  • The regular class size is intended to be 10 students. We acknowledge the significance of small class sizes and will endeavor to maintain this within our capabilities.
  • A registration fee of S$50.00 for regular classes is payable upon registration for new students. The amount of the registration fee is subject to change at any time and without prior notice and is strictly non-refundable in any circumstance.
  • A termly surcharge of $20 for printing materials and stationery will be collected by the end of every term. (March, June, September, and November) and applicable for both regular and private classes, with or without completing the whole term.
  • Fees will be collected monthly. We only impose charges when students attend the lesson or when a makeup class is given.
  • Please inform the center should a make-up class be required, subject to the teacher’s availability. Note that make-up classes might not be conducted by the regular class teacher and might be conducted via Zoom.
  • There will be no classes during term breaks. Strategic workshops will be conducted during term breaks to supplement regular classes.

Holidays Workshops or Booster Classes

Terms & Conditions

  • Holiday workshops or Booster Classes require three (3) or more students and are intended to be a maximum of 15 students. A Class Act (ACA) Learning Centre reserves the right to change the date or to cancel any classes for which payment has not been made.
  • Fees for the holiday workshops/ Booster Classes are payable within three (3) days of ACA’s confirmation on the schedule of the relevant class(es).
  • Fees paid for regular classes, Holiday Workshops and Booster Classes are strictly non-refundable. However, it’s transferrable to siblings or other classes.
  • A Class Act (ACA) Learning Centre reserves the right not to accept the Student and/or to cancel or terminate any classes for which payment has not been made by the prescribed due date.

Make-up Class

  • Your child may attend the class within the same week (contact admin to confirm the time and lesson): For example, if a student’s regular class is on Saturday, January 13th, they have the option to join the lesson on Wednesday, January 10th.
  • The makeup class will typically be conducted online via Zoom/Google Meet unless the teacher confirms that an on-site makeup class is possible.
  • Please inform the center should a make-up class be required. Please note that the makeup class might be taught by a different teacher if the main teacher is unavailable.
  • Charges Based on Attendance: Students will be charged for the makeup class after they attend. The fee for the makeup class will be added to the invoice for the current month (when the makeup class is conducted).
  • You can cater the time according to the regular class, however, it’s common for makeup class will end 30 minutes earlier. Because in a group class, 30 minutes are usually spent with 15 minutes explaining concepts to kids who don’t understand, allowing time for questions, and 15 minutes for writing compositions in class. However, in a one-on-one setting, the process is much more straightforward to answer one kid and they can do their composition on their own.
  • The price will remain unchanged as the makeup class will be conducted during the additional time allocated in the schedule, and this includes the courier fee.
